U.S. Army Corps of Engineers ACF River Basin Data
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Mobile District
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) operates the five federally owned reservoirs in the Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint (ACF) River Basin. During drought, the USACE is an important manager of water in the system and makes management decisions based on precipitation, inflows, and effects on flows, lake levels, and uses.
Through its website, the USACE provides current, forecasted, and historical project data for reservoirs in the ACF River Basin: Lake Sidney Lanier, West Point Lake, Walter F. George Lake, Lake George W. Andrews, and Jim Woodruff. This includes lake elevation and forecast data, composite conservation + flood storage for the entire ACF Basin, historical project data, and other water resources.
