Development of a Flash Drought Risk Tool

The Indiana State Climate Office is in the process of developing an enhanced flash drought risk tool that can be utilized by government agencies, communicators, and the public to monitor conditions and be alerted at least one week in advance when flash drought conditions appear favorable. This tool will be promoted through the Midwest DEWS listserv when it is available.
