Island Lake Reservoir Technical Committee

Minnesota Power manages the Island Lake Reservoir in northern Minnesota, and to involve Island Lake landowners in reservoir management decisions, they established this technical committee. The committee meets three times per year to look at the current and forecasted conditions (provided by the National Weather Service) to decide if regular operations can continue, or if they need to implement low-flow operations.
