Mississippi River Watershed Partnership

Project Status
Ongoing

Inspired by missions to connect, America’s Watershed Initiative, in partnership with The Nature Conservancy, has engaged dozens of government, community, industry, and non-governmental organization leaders to explore ways to address the challenges impacting the Mississippi River Watershed. Emerging from those discussions, a goal took shape to build a diverse and robust partnership across different sectors to develop shared priorities across the entire Watershed.

This Mississippi River Watershed Partnership would act as one voice to generate broad support and dedicated funding to drive integrated on-the-ground action to improve the health of the Watershed for the human and natural communities that depend on it.
