The Native Village of Elim's Tubutulik River Watershed Temperature, Dissolved Oxygen and Stream Flow Monitoring Risk Assessment
The Native Village of Elim is working with its partners to develop an Temperature, Dissolved Oxygen, and Stream Flow Risk Assessment (Assessment) designed to protect aquatic habitat and subsistence resources in the Tubutulik River Watershed of Alaska. The Assessment will address water flow and temperature data collection; creating in-stream habitats; applying Traditional Ecological Knowledge; and applications of in-stream flow water rights, and federal trust duty in relation to the impacts of increased temperature and drought not only within the watershed but throughout Alaska.
