Quarterly California-Nevada Drought Early Warning System Key Stakeholder Coordination Call
The California-Nevada Drought Early Warning System (DEWS) uses networks of federal, tribal, state, local, and academic partners to make climate and drought science accessible and useful for decision makers. These systems improve stakeholders’ capacity to monitor, forecast, plan for, and cope with the impacts of drought. This quarterly call brings together the California-Nevada DEWS partners and stakeholders to provide a forum for sharing agency activities, identify opportunities to leverage resources, and outreach/engagement given current and forecasted conditions, progress and updates to the DEWS strategic plan, and more.
