Southern Plains Climate and Drought Webinar: February 2025

Drought is a common occurrence in the Southern Plains and costs farmers, ranchers, and communities millions of dollars. Knowing where drought is now and where it might form in the upcoming season can help you be prepared and resilient to potential drought impacts. This webinar will focus on the current conditions and look ahead at precipitation and temperatures outlooks for the coming season, as well as information about using and interpreting seasonal outlooks.
This webinar is presented by NOAA's National Integrated Drought Information System Southern Plains Drought Early Warning System and the USDA's Southern Plains Climate Hub in partnership with the National Weather Service and the Climate Prediction Center. We hope you will be able to join us.
