Drought in the Southern Plains is common and comes and goes regularly. Knowing where drought is now and where it might form can help you be prepared and resilient to the potential drought impacts. This webinar will focus on the present state of seasonal climate variability and look ahead at precipitation and temperatures for the coming season. At this webinar, we will also take time to explain the seasonal climate outlooks and help you know how they should be interpreted and used.

This webinar is presented by NOAA's Southern Plains Drought Early Warning System and the USDA's Southern Plains Climate Hub in partnership with the NOAA National Weather Service (NWS) and NWS Climate Prediction Center. We hope you will be able to join us.
